Yesterday during 8Y library lesson two students recommended "Granny" by Anthony Horowitz and we ended up talking about grannies in children's books. There are lots of them with wonderful grannies like "The Witches", "Lizzy Zipmouth","Double Act", in fact I am now reading one of the new books, it is called"I am a cloud and I can blow anywhere", It is about an african girl and her granny is one of 
the main characters. I am really enjoying it. You can listen to an extract clicking here.Then we were trying to think about books with wicked grannies and we came out with three excellent ones, "Granny", "Grinny" and "George's Marvellous medicine"
