Have you read Percy Jackson´s series? It is really action packed and funny . The first book is Percy Jacskon and the lightening thief in which the main character discovers that he is the son of Poseidon, god of the sea . He finds out that the legendary gods and beasts of Greek mythology still exist and now they live in Olympus which is now situated at the mythical 600th floor of the Empire State Building.
