In the nick of Time by Robert Swindells.Quite an enjoyable read. Story which recreates a different kind of school in the 1950’s and a nice twist where two people re-find each other through time. Easy reading.
Refugee Boy – Benjamin Zephaniah
Ok but a little bit tiresome. Zephaniah seems to have got carried away trying to teach us about refugees and to have forgotten that his first duty is to create a believable story with 3 dimensional characters.
