Martha's parents belong to a religious group called the Righteous. Martha can't do several things such as wearing dessigner clothes or buying fast food or candy from the supermarket so she gets bullied at school. Neither is she allowed to invite people from school home because of the family's secret called Abomination that lives in the cellar and that Martha has to look after. When Martha befriends Scott, Martha is afraid that her secret will be discovered. Will Martha be able to stay friends with Scott?
